For the ones who feel most at home near water. Hand painted with fish and flowing water motifs on a soft blue vase.
The vase is wheel thrown in stoneware clay, trimmed, and cut in half. It is then hand painted with underglaze, attached to a hand built stoneware arch, bisque fired, glazed, and fired again. The pocket holds water for fresh or dried flowers.
To clean gently hand wash with dish soap. Avoid scrubbing. Each piece is one of a kind. Minor variations in the painting and glaze are part of the making.
