1:1 wheel-throwing class | 90 mins

Wheel throwing is a technique where you shape clay on a rotating pottery wheel. It’s great for making symmetrical pieces like cups, bowls, vases, etc. It’s fast, fluid and meditative once you get the hang of it.

Designed for absolute beginners, this session will help you get familiar with clay and the potter's wheel. You learn the basics of wheel-throwing from centering the clay to shaping your first piece while receiving hands-on guidance by me every step of the way. At the end of the session, you will have made your own handmade creation which can be glazed, fired and picked up later at an additional cost.
