Commissions

If you'd like to commission a custom piece, please send an email to studiomaitri95@gmail.com or DM me on instagram @studiomaitri_ with your idea, preferred size and any deadlines you may have.

Custom commissions start at ₹2,000, with the final price depending on the size, complexity and level of detail involved. As each piece is handmade, please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for creation and shipping. Larger or more detailed orders may require additional time.

Once we have discussed and finalized the design, a 50% deposit is required to secure your commission slot and begin work on your piece. The remaining balance will be due before shipping.

I'll share progress updates throughout the making process so you can follow your piece as it comes to life.

To ensure each commission receives the attention it deserves, I accept a limited number of custom orders at a time. If commissions are fully booked, you can choose to join the waiting list and I'll contact you as soon as a slot becomes available.

Shipping Policy

  • Custom Orders: Commissioned items are dispatched within 4-5 weeks from the date of finalization and payment.
  • In-Stock Ceramics: In-stock pieces are shipped within 5-8 business days.
  • As a one-woman studio, each order is handled with dedicated care and attention. Every step of the process — from packing to dispatch — takes time, and we truly appreciate your patience and support.
  • Shipping timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, weather conditions, or peak seasons. Studio Maitri is not responsible for delays caused by the courier company. Once your order is dispatched, tracking details will be shared — however, we are not liable for delays after handover to the courier.
  • In the event of a lost parcel, we will assist in raising a complaint with the courier, though we cannot guarantee resolution or replacements.
  • Please ensure your shipping address is accurate at checkout. Studio Maitri is not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

Refund & Exchange Policy

  • All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges once an order has been shipped, under any circumstances.
  • Our ceramics are packed with 5 layers of protective packaging. In the rare event of transit damage, we regret we are unable to offer replacements.
  • All orders are non-refundable once placed. In exceptional circumstances where the studio cannot fulfil an order, a full refund will be issued.
