Hi there! Welcome to Studio Maitri. Started by Maitri in 2025, this space is sacred to me and my ideas. It’s an outlet for me to put my creative thoughts to life. I started this after quitting my corporate 9-5 when I was desperately searching for my unique voice in a sea of voices. That’s when I found clay or rather clay found me. This story began in 2021 with a month-long workshop and I was instantly hooked. After quitting and relocating to Delhi, I began turning a spare room in the terrace of our home into a home studio space for me to explore everything there is to pottery. Soon after, I started selling and teaching. My style is very reflective of my own personality and leans towards quiet earthy pieces, with a little bit of whimsy.
